HAM CROISSANTS

To make 16 pieces:
50g/2oz low-fat cottage cheese
6tbsps milk
5 tbsp oil
½ tbsps salt
300g/10oz self-raising flour
250g/8oz feta cheese
150g/5 ½ oz raw ham

Bunch of fresh or 1 tsp dries thyme

Salt and freshly ground black papper
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp milk
2 tbsps sesame seeds

Butter for greasing

·        760kj/180 kcl per croissant
·        8g protein
·        10g fat
·        14g carbohydrate

Mix together the cootage cheese, milk,oil,and salt,Stir the flour into cottage cheese,Knead well.
Cuut the feta cheese and ham into cube,remove the leaves from the fresh thyme or crush the dried thyme,Mix into the feta cheese and ham cube.
Heat the oven to 200/400/gas mark 6 and graese the baking tray,roll out the dough on a floured work top.
Cut on rectangles (14cm/6inches x 12cm/4inchis) White a pastry cutter and halve each one diagonally,Place one tablespoon of the filling in each traingle and then roll into a croissant,pressing down the edges.
Whisk the egg yolk with the milk and brush onto the croissants,Sprinkle with sesame seeds,Place the croissants on the baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden,Serve hot or cold.
